Dear Parents and Carers

It has been great to see everyone arriving back this week along with the sunshine. I hope you all had a good half term break.

If you come to Homerton past the allotments you may have noticed our newly painted and decorated shed.

A big thank you goes to Niamh, and other East Room parents, for decorating it over half term – do go and see it if you haven’t already.

As the weather has improved so much please could you all remember to put sun cream on your children at the start of the day and to send them in with a named hat.

We wanted to let you know that our lovely teacher trainee Chara is leaving us at the end of the week.

She has been a fantastic staff member and we all wish her well in her future teaching career.

We have a special event coming up for the children – on 30th June we are hoping to have a sponsored wheeled toy event around the garden to raise money for a new garden bench.

We will need a few parent volunteers to help run this so please let me know if you are able to help either in the morning from 9.30 -10.30 am or the afternoon from 1.30-2.30 pm.

We are also looking for any old laptops (with the battery removed),  or calculators that you no longer use for children to use for roleplay.

With best wishes from us all

Alex
